Where to buy clotted cream in Seattle?

Question

Does anyone know where to buy clotted cream or unpasteurized cream in Seattle?

It is so frustrating, I used to live in Vancouver, BC, you can just buy them from grocery store like Safeway. I checked QFC, Safeway, Whole foods and trader joes do not seems to carry them.

Call the Creamery in the Pike Place Market, they have a broad spectrum of dairy products.

I know it does not help much, but I've bought (some time ago) a couple of small jars of British (Devon) clotted cream from the clearance shelf of a suburban butcher shop. I suspect they got it from some area grocery that was getting rid of slow moving stock. They might have gotten it from Ballinger Thriftway in Shoreline, which tries to position itself in the upscale market. Central Markets (Shoreline, Mill Creak) are other possibilities. I'd expect to find it in the fancy condiments section, not the dairy cooler. As an import it might also be found a Cost Plus World Markets. There may also be a shop on the east side that specializes in British imports.

I've purchased clotted cream both at the Creamery in Pike Place (as babette feasts suggested) and at area Whole Foods stores. I've had a lot of difficulty tracking it down anywhere else locally.

the sad fact is this: the bottled clotted ("devonshire") cream available in the usa is, by law, made from pasteurized milk and tastes nothing like the real stuff made with raw milk. i have made my own clotted cream starting with raw whole milk (available severally) and it is both delicate of manufacture and incredibly expensive per serving. adding a bit of sugar to home-made creme fraiche provides a marginally acceptable substitute.

Doesn't Trader Joe's sell a clotted cream? I know they carry Devon butter....

Another thought would be The British Pantry in Redmond.
