Chobani has reformulated their yogurt and is marketing a new line under the "simply 100" label.
The same flavored yogurt cups as previously sold are still on shelves.
The vanilla cup label on the original formula looks like this:
And the new "simply 100" yogurt simply added in chicory root fiber (which some people can be sensitive to), along with monkfruit extract and stevia as sweetners in addition to the original evaporated cane juice.
I actually don't buy chobani myself (plain stonyfield greek girl here) but I wanted to have others be aware of the changes to the yogurt since chobani is just focused on the fact it's 100 calories.
Has anyone already tasted this? Any difference? Any reaction to the chicory root? Is anyone else bothered by the step towards frankenfood? Or will you buy this as a way to reduce calories/sugar?
