Once upon a time I had the recipie mentioned in the title of the post. IIRC, I got it from the L.A. Times -- likely in the late 90s.
Unfortunatly, I seem to have misplaced the recipie card between last fall and now!
I remember that the recipie called for roasting the squash in the oven. The spices were on the savory side -- cinnamon and cloves, I think. Pomegranate syrup (or molasses) was mixed with the creme fraiche, and the soup was garnished with toasted pine nuts.
Does anyone have this recipe, please???
