I make ice cream quite a bit, but would like to use the buttermilk today since the exp date is coming. I was wondering can I make the ice cream same way I would vanilla? I don't make custard base vanilla, just with cream and milk.
Or perhaps add some of the berry/strawberry symple syrup I have to the buttermilk? All the recipes call for lemon. I'm ok if its very light and enhances, but I really don't want a lemony flavor.
