So, the New York Times reported today about the first recorded PBDE contaiminated food sample. The butter tested as very high in fire retardants and the wrapper was even higher. The scientific paper does not include the butter name but eslewhere on the web the researchers said that the manufacturer was in the Minneapolis-St. Paul. So, that would be Land o Lakes.
So, I won't be buying that any more. It wasn't my favorite but I would stock up with it when it was on sale. What do you recommnend as your favorite baking butter?
