I have eaten here a few times a summer, including this past Sunday and I wanted to highlight it for others as I have seen almost nothing about it here on Chowhound. It is overall excellent. I appreciate the sign they update with their seafood's provenance.
The lobster role is different, no mayo like a NE roll, no hot butter like a Conn roll. Just cooked meat, tender, on a split grilled bun. Size is just like Luke's nothing like Mary/Pearl/Ed's and at $24 priced between the two groups.
Fried whole belly clams were also excellent. Not Bigelow's excellent but good size belly clams, correctly fried.
Steamed Little Neck clams. Not the usual type used for steamer clams, my wife who always orders steamers when they are on the menu, and I mean always, loved them.
Good beer and wine choices, blue marble ice cream cups and a spectacular setting, marina, bay and on Sunday bright blue skies and plenty of sunshine.
Mostly a fried seafood menu, not a lot of choices for grilled fish but I don't know many other waterfront clam bars with excellent food on the North Shore.
