Did anyone attend Busaba Vegan/Veggie Thai restaurants Grand Opening on Sunday?
I went there last week as I noticed it on my way home on Tuesday. That coupled with a pre-opening review compelled me to try it out. Parking is a little bit problematice, but now that I have eaten there I will not have a problem with a hike.
I was the lone diner at lunch time on Thursday afternoon. I started off with the spinach rolls, a brilliant take off on spring rolls. They were filled with glass noodles, carrots & shitake mushrooms. Great taste and I did not want to adulterate the taste by dipping in the hoisin sauce.
The entree I chose was the Ginger A La Mor with the faux chicken. The taste was "ummmmm" inspiring, sauce was very delicate and just the right amount of sliced ginger. The waitress was very nice ( I have a feeling that despite my being the lone diner, I would be afforded the same attention.) She did suggest a side of pumpkin
rice that is not listed on the menu. She stated they wanted to try and do a little change up on the usual Thai fare.
Two of my co-workers are vegan and raved about it. I am going again today.
