I have two quick questions.
Would someone happen to know of a local source for Burnt Sugar? I've tried googling but I can't seem to find a west indies/Caribbean grocery in Minneapolis.
I bought my one and only jar last December (over the Internet), used a tablespoon and then stored it in a cool, dry spot (the label didn't give storage info). I'm getting ready to make black cake again this Christmas, but I'm suspicious of the jar for no good reason other than the length of time it's been sitting.
Does anyone know how long burnt sugar can be stored?
