Burmese Store (Asian Grocery)

Seeing the discussion in the Hard Hat thread and passing by last night, I stopped in the Burmese Store.

Imagine an Asian supermarket, miniaturized to 200 sq ft. The store is a long room.

Most of the items are from Thailand and other countries. I didn't see a lot of items from Burma.

They have a refrigerator with drinks and two freezers with meat, fish and veggies.

I had a simple conversation about the store with the lady who was working there. She also said that a friend has plans to open a Burmese restaurant in Austin next year.

7135 N Lamar
SE corner of Lamar and St John's. In the small shopping center with a Cricket store.
The entrance is on the St John's side of the building
