Anything new in Burmese restaurants in the city?

Jonathan Saw | Jul 22, 200502:44 PM     4

It's been a while since my mom visited and I've already finished the stuff she sent me for my birthday, so I'm hankering for some good Burmese food.

I'm pretty familiar (and unimpressed) with the existing places such as:

Mingala - not bad but they clearly skimp on the expensive ingredients and falvorings to appeal to Western Palates

Mandalay ??? (near Double Happiness) - better than Mingala but still not great.

Anything new out there?
