Burmese food (and other cuisines Toronto is sorely lacking)

highlyunlikely | Jan 17, 201706:03 AM     10

I tried Burmese food for the first time a few years ago in SF and loved it - and had it again when I visited last year. Why does Toronto still not have any Burmese restaurants?! (I see there is a Royal Myanmar Restaurant in Etobicoke...but I am looking for somewhere in Toronto proper).

Also - for years I was saddened by the lack of Indonesian restaurants (apart from Mata Hari - which was Malay and kinda meh), so I am quite excited that we now have Little Sister, but I wonder why it seems to have no competitors.

Which other national cuisines are not well-represented in Toronto?
