Can I make burgers/sliders ahead of time for a 5 y/o bday party?

I'm planning my soon-to-be 5 y/o's Star Wars themed bday party and he really wants Hutt Dogs and Han Burgers (hot dogs and hamburgers, natch). But his bday is also on NYE and while the party will be the following weekend I'm just not sure a) we want to be outsiding grilling in the middle of winter and b) neither of us wants to spend the party cooking up a dozen burgers. Can we cook up the burgers (or maybe sliders, since these are little kids) in advance and then reheat? Or even if we just cook them earlier in the morning and then keep warm for dinner? If yes to either of those, how do you suggest we do it?
While I'm here, can anyone think of a fun name for the Mac & Cheese (so far all I've got is Mac-o Calcheesian (for Lando Calrissian). Thanks!
