Burgers and dogs at the Sausage Guy

chuck s | Dec 3, 2005 02:34 PM

Stopped at the Sausage Guy at the site of the former Joe and Nemo's the other day and had a burger and a dog. Dogs are grilled and kept warm in a steam server. Rolls are grilled as needed. The dog seemed to be a combo of beef and pork and was tasty. You help yourself to a variety of condiments. I went for the Club Blue burger, a small patty, similar to what you would get at a dinner, nothing like a Bartley, Tim's, or a Sullivans, but tasty and nicely prepared, and topped with blue cheese and bacon. The fries are thin and handcut on the premises and were crisp and delicious. As much as a fan of Joe and Nemo's as I was, the Sausage Guy raises the bar at this location.
