Been doing a weekly burger run for about 10 weeks give or take.
Island Burger- was a major disappointment. Went last week. Asked for burger med rare. med well to well. the burger had no chance. flavor was lackluster.
Shake Shack- what is all the hype? I mean it was good. but nothing to run back to tommorrow.. If i go again, i would get a double, and it tasted fine but not amazing.Fries with cheese were good but nothing to report on. Lovely experience sitting there. no pressure to get up.
Rare- burger is as real as it gets, i dunno. maybe i wanted the sweet pot fries to badly and never got em'.
to say the experience was more than good. Will return to try the truffle butter with burger..... not sure i'll try the 22 buckoroo burger. that butter may do the trick as the best.
PJ Clarkes- again, top five. but not no 1 by any means. onion soup is ok. fries are good. i love the atmosphere though. burger was tasty.
Old Town- still reigns as no 2 burger. in the city. minus the bad service you usually get.
that pot salad is so good.
Fanelli's- If you like hockey pucks as burgers this is your place. i do not understand why it is on best burger list's in the city.
Blue 9 burger- i swear it is the most tasty burger you'll find....espec for the price. it is best eaten while walking the streets. oh it is so good.
But it is different then S&W.
I feel strange rating in same category.
Next on list: your comments please
Donovan's, McHales, Five Points....
oh yeah. Smith and Wolensky Grill reigns as no 1 although it has been awhile.
