Burger at Mission Bar & Grill

Joanie | Mar 6, 2006 09:59 AM

Stopped by Sun. afternoon to get a burger before vacation, cuz we all know they don't do burgers as well in Europe. It was decent but kind of dry. Partly because I ordered med. well I suppose. But I asked the girl what light pink would be and went with her med. well suggestion (after hearing that she hasn't eaten meat in 13 years). I find it's always a crap shoot when I'm ordering med. vs. med. well and I lost out this time. Burger was large, good quality, piping hot (never had a burger as hot as a matter of fact), but no pinkness and even with med. well, it should have been juicier. Tomato was about as unripe as could be. Good pickle and fries. $8, swiss cheese was another $.75 as were all other toppings. Comfortable space with mostly drinkers at that point, well rounded menu, will order medium next time.

No time for Rest. Week dinner at La Morra tonite, will have to live vicariously thru everyone else these couple of days.
