Burger Factory on Sacramento (a review & a rant)

Bored | Aug 2, 2005 08:00 PM

I feel obligated to write a review of this place, not because it was anything special, but because it drives me crazy that all the posts on this board lately are either questions about restaurants or reviews of really expensive places that I'll never go to. Enough of that...
I stopped by this newish burger joint (Burger Factory on Sacramento) for lunch today and got a burger, fries & soda (major + that they have Cherry Coke). They give you a choice of white or wheat bun, which is nice. The burger was *okay*. There was nothing really bad about it, other than it being kind of bland...but then again I think I've been spoiled to all other burgers after eating at BugerMeister. The only thing that really saved this burger was the blue cheese I requested on it. Nice touch. Interesting fries: fresh cut, pretty flavorful, but not as crispy as I like them. I think the fact that this place is one of, like, four places around the Embarcadero's that take credit card means I'll be back to Burger Factory eventually. Total lunch was a little under six bucks.
