I saw a huge pile of Nordic Ware bundt pans at one of those TJ Maxx type off-price stores. That got me thinking: what's up with bundt cakes? The ones I've tasted are heavy, but I can't remember the last time I ate one because nobody seems to bake them anymore (yes, Cook's has a recipe in their latest issue, but then, they're not exactly hip). And what exactly is a bundt cake, aside from the fact you bake it in one of those special pans?
