I noticed a couple of earlier posts about the Bukhara/Bukhari Pakistani food joints on Coney Island Avenue, one of which replaced the beloved Swad (just north of Avenue H). The posts were lukewarm. I agree that the food was not spectacular (and I think that Roti Boti in Astoria is better for Pakistani), but what I had was basically fine: tandoor chicken (not very spicy, otherwise nice flavoring), dal (OK, a bit on the greasy side, went well with the . . . ) nan (good!)

The atmosphere was friendly enough. There were a bunch of guys in there watching a cricket match on TV.
