Bubble Tea in Lakeview?

Naomi | Aug 20, 2003 01:22 PM

Does anyone know of a great bubble tea place in Lakeview? I've tried the bubble teas at the recently opened tea place on Belmont and unfortunately, they just weren't very good (icy texture, overly sweet flavor, canned whip cream on top).

I've seen it advertised in several restaurant windows in Lakeview but have never bought it from anything than take-out tea shops and wonder if the restaurants even sell them to go. Any recommendations?

Also, if you know of great bubble tea anywhere else in Chicago, I'd love to hear about that too! I know all of Seattle's ID joints, but haven't had the chance to find new ones in Chicago, and I won't have a chance to go anywhere besides Lakeview tonight for my drink of choice. Thanks!
