B.T.'s Smokehouse, Sturbridge, does tasty BBQ...

When travelling between Maine & New York metro, it has almost become custom for us to stop in Sturbridge, Mass. for a meal at B.T.'s Smokehouse. It is very good BBQ, loaded with sides and extras on the menu. On our way back to N.Y. we usually order the Three Meat Platter because we know we will be taking home leftovers. It is a hefty tray, loaded with pulled pork, brisket & ribs, sides of collards, BBQ beans and mac 'n cheese. Came with corn bread and all the marinated onions you want, plus sauces and extras free for the taking. Don't know if it is a knock: sometimes the brisket is so tender it just falls apart and looks like the mound of pulled pork. I prefer to see the slices more intact.
It has been busy every time we have visited, but somehow their system works pretty smoothly, right down to parking and scoring a table. Mid-afternoon might help, too. We have also found the prices to be reasonable compared to other BBQ joints we have been to.
Have you stopped at B.T.'s? What do you like to order? www.btsmokehouse.com
