Brunch at Ten Feet Tall

Always on the lookout for a great brunch place, my stepdaughter told us about a place she's fallen in love with.

Ten Feet Tall, which is on the Danforth, east of Greenwood.

We went yesterday (it opens at 10 am).

I had the coffee, which is constantly refilled from a fresh brewed pot. (It's just coffee, no fancy beans or anything). Ordered the french toast, which uses thick slices from a baguette. You get 3 and a little bit of fruit.

Hubby just had the breakfast (2 eggs over easy, sausages, rye toast, home fries). The eggs were exactly to his liking, which is good because he's very fussy about that.

Daughter had the dollar pancakes, which she just devoured. Surprising considering there were about a dozen little pancakes on the plate!

But the best and most memorable part was the sweet potato fries we ordered as an appetizer. It came with a jalapeno mayo dip and a spicy piri piri dip. They have several dips on the menu, and you choose your preference.

We totally cleaned the plate and I was even considering ordering another round! LOL!

So glad we found this place. Service is wonderful and the artwork inside is a nice distraction when you're waiting for your meal.
