Brunch at max

OK OK its not fair to judge a restaurant on a sunday before a holiday, especially since they have been open 0nly six weeks..........but;;;;;;;;;;;;;;\\\\\
service was sloooooowwwww, but very friendly......... they put us in a private little area with my new baby........ and they offered baby friendly food at no cost...... service slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww..... but..... the basket of baked goods was great..... my wife and i split the beet salad with feta croutons,,,,,,,,,,, interesting but lacking.... but her shrimp in black bean sauce was great. not great in "LA standard" meaning this was a great dish but great in the way he married the flavors and the textures, truly a nice dish, one that i would go back for.... I had the cod in a curry crust that was really tasty.... the buttermilk panna cotta is a must, very sublte in taste the souffle was a bbbit to sweet... all in all for a split salad, 2 main courses, 2 desserts, 2 caps, and a bottle of wine was $89.00 not bad, ill be back soon
