Has anybody ever brought their own sake to a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles?

Over the years I have brought special bottles of wine to a number of nice restaurants and aside from the corkage, nobody has thought twice about my doing it.

With the recent growth in the importation of top quality sake from Japan, I was wondering if anybody knows whether it is acceptable to bring your own special bottles of sake to a sushi restaurant? Have you done it? At which restaurants in L.A.? Is there "corkage"?
