Brooklyn Roast Beef Joint

Salt Peter | Jul 19, 2004 06:03 PM

Last year, or perhaps the year before, the Times did a small feature on the guy whose mob is to be the mascot for the Mets' single A team at Coney Island. It focused on the places he loves to eat in Brooklyn, and he took the author on a little food tour. One of the places he mentioned was Adelman's deli on Kings Highway. (By the way -- this is not the original Adelman's and is a pale imitation of the original, on 13th Avenue.) The other place was a roast beef place; not a prime rib place, but a roast beef sandwich place. It almost sounded like the roast beef stands that you find all over Boston.

Does anyone remember this article, and/or have any idea what this place might be?
