Any help for Brooklyn Heights?

klandon | Jul 24, 2004 05:46 PM

Aside from Noodle Pudding and, perhaps, Henry's End, are there any decent restaurants in Brooklyn Heights? There's a new Cuban restaurant opening on the corner of Henry and Cranberry, but too soon to know if that will be good. Grimaldi's is close by, but pizza is not always my choice of food when dining out.

I moved to BH two years ago and have been disappointed by the lack of good restaurants around here. One theory I have is that the huge lunch crowd from surrounding office buildings attracts a certain kind of restaurant that caters to people looking for a quick meal and nothing that fancy. Montague Street in particular is a wasteland when it comes to fine dining. Or perhaps I am missing something? Any recommendations that I may be overlooking?
