Bronx Museum Cafe

All of the recent talk of the Bx reminds me that I recently enjoyed a more-than-decent sandwich from this cafe. The museum is located at 165th Street and Grand Concourse. The cafe is right off the entrance.

There is no place that I am aware of within a several-mile radius that serves this kind of food (e.g., hummus wrap, portabello salad, Black Forest ham on brioche.) Pretty commonplace stuff for downtown, but a miracle in the So. Bx. Very pleasant setting, too. Prices reasonable.
