British food in Pasadena

Jules LaVerne | Jun 24, 2003 09:47 PM

On a recent shopping trip on east Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena, I ran across a nifty British restaurant. I think it's called "Brits" but I'm not positive (I should have nabbed a menu or card). It's in a space right next to La Grotta Capri that's seen many a restaurant in past years, but I hope this one sticks around. Great fish 'n chips, fish tender and fresh and the coating not too greasy, and the chips are authentic and grand. They also had pasties and meat pyes and so on, but I'll try those ones next time.
