I have some pheasants from last fall and I didn't realize until now that the bags must have had a few small holes poked in them so the birds are a bit freezer burnt. I refuse to waste them so I am wondering if anyone has tried brining meat that was freezer burnt and if it helped. If so, how long (longer than normal?). I was going to brine them anyway (never tried it before) because they are usually pretty dry. The original plan was to wrap them in bacon and grill them.
