To brine or not to brine (turkey)?

Sorry if this was already discussed during Thanksgiving!

I've just ordered a fresh-killed turkey for Christmas, and I was wondering if I still need to brine it or not (either wet or dry.) The lady at the farm told me no because brining is putting moisture back into a frozen bird, but isn't it also to flavor the meat?

I think it will definitely turn out well either way, but I just want it to be the best it could be.
