Brie Bowl

Just thought I'd post one of my favorite appetizer recipes.

It is for a Brie Bowl.

To make you will need:

One round of Brie.
One round of good sourdough.
One head of garlic.
1/2 cup of Olive Oil.
Salt and pepper.

Preheat oven. Take the round of sourdough, cut the top off and hollow out the inside. With the top and the inside cut into bite sized chunks and set aside for later. Chop up head of garlic and mix with olive oil and some salt and pepper. Liberally paint the inside of the hollowed out loaf with garlic and oil. Cut cheese into chunks and pile into bread bowl. Put a little of the garlic and olive oil over the top of the cheese. Place on a cookie sheet and bake in oven for 45 minutes or until cheese is nice and melty and bubbly (but not totally melted). During the last 15 minutes of baking place the sourdough pieces you on a tray, paint with remaining garlic and olive oil, and place in oven so they will brown.

Serve hot with the bread cubes and whatever else you want for dipping.

It's the best ever for thanksgiving morning.
