Bridal Registry - Type of pans? Too many choices!

Chi-girl | Nov 8, 2005 10:35 AM

I already have a great non-stick set, but now, I'm getting hitched and I would like some pots and pans. I've already added a cast-iron skillet and grill, but I'm looking for something for everyday for higher heat tolerance both on the range and in the oven (and it doesn't have to be a set).

Aluminum? Stainless steel? Hard Anodized? I've only cooked with non-stick I need help. Emerilware looks good but I'm completely lost.

I'm not one to be brand loyal so fire away with any feedback (pros/cons appreciated!) TIA
