Brick Macaron Ice Cream from Southern California is making inroads in the Bay Area. I first spotted the cooler at The Moo Bar in Santa Clara for $3.50 apiece,

When I ran across them the next time at Gen Korean BBQ in San Jose, it was time to try one. I bought the green tea flavor. The ice cream was not very sweet and actually didn't taste like much of anything. The macaron was quite good with a satisfying chewiness and a bit of exterior crispness.
