...just HAS to be the perfect park restaurant. it being a wonderfully sunlit sunday morning, we drove out to the heath, a mere seven miles on the odometer from kensington high street. lunch was at the brew house, which is the restaurant by kenwood house on the north side of the heath. perfect everything: cumberland sausages, red cabbage, mashed potatoes, bread, fruit cake all washed down with wonderfully fragrant coffee.
if lunch was anything to judge by, this must be a spectacular breakfast spot. unfortunately, it stops being served by 11.30, so thats next times project.
disclaimer: as the brew house lunch was my first proper meal after recovering from the worst flu i've ever had, perhaps i was a little biased. but i don't think so.
