I had brunch at the Breslin this afternoon and had a great meal. This was the Sunday after Thanksgiving, so it may have been less crowded than usual, but I waited 30 mins for a table for 2. There was plenty of seating at the bar, so with a very good bloody mary, the wait was painless. I had the grilled cheese with ham, which was delicious. My friend had the lamb burger, which I had a few bites of--wow! It was cooked to rare (rather than medium, as the waitress had said was the standard) and was juicy and flavorful. I love the burger at Spotted Pig, but this was a revelation. I'm a thick-cut fries gal, so I loved the fries that came with the burger. After brunch, I had a nice cup of coffee at the Stumptown in the Ace Hotel. It was a great combo.
