Breakfast on UES

Lynn | Aug 18, 2003 05:48 PM

After years of multiple trips to NY annually (I'm an LA Hound) filled with early morning meetings or other obligations I find myself with 7 days and no mandatory breakfast plans and traveling companions who would enjoy getting out of the hotel for breakfast. I'm looking for the small, local spots with good, basic breakfasts that are always somewhere in the neighborhood (even the UES). We've saved the power dining for dinnertime so we're not in the 5757 mode this trip. We'd be starting from 63rd and Park and while a comfortable stroll would be nice, no taxi, bus or subway rides, please.

Thanks for any suggestions. Y'all have been a wonderful resource for dining options throughout many previous trips.
