Breakfast Places

Jeff I. | Aug 22, 2005 08:18 PM

I just spent 4 days in SF on business and had a breakfast at both Sears and Pine Crest. I've had breakfasts at both places in the past while in SF but of late I seem to be leaning strongly toward Pine Crest as the better place for breakfast. I think Pine Crest does a better job with egg dishes, has better coffee and service and ..... even on the pancake front, I think the pancakes at Pine Crest are better than the signature Swedish pancakes at Sears.

I'd be interested in hearing feedback from some SF regulars. I'm heading back to NY where, unfortunately, some of the better breakfast places have either lost a lease or shut down for other reasons over the past few years. So ---- I do look forward to good breakfasts when visiting SF.
