I am organizing a day of quilting for my guild for about 18 women. They will come for a day (9am - 4pm) to put together a quilt for the show from the blocks that they have already made. The venue has a kitchen with MV, stove and fridge; not sure about the oven.
For breakfast I thought I'll get boxed coffee from a local coffee house, a fruit plate with a caramel sauce, and something baked. Leaning towards savoury but can't decide.
For lunch I want something substantial - soup (carrot/ginger?), wraps (roast beef, curried chicken, and roasted vegetables with goat cheese), veg plate with dipping sauce (green goddess/ranch style), and some kind of squares/slices for dessert.
I do not have a slow cooker and would prefer to make everything the day before, bring soup in a pot, the rest in containers, etc.
Please critique and make suggestions.
