Need Breakfast Ideas...

PutSomethingTogether | Jul 28, 201501:12 PM     40

I'm tired of the same old same old for breakfast, especially cold cereal. I do mix it up with mainstays like hot cereal, French Toast, Pancakes, regular toast and omelets. I am still getting weary of the routine and could really use more variety. I do sometimes make a smoothie and have that 3X a week for a month then start that up again every 3 months or so. That helps a little.

I don't usually have the time for a real involved breakfast, so I am looking for good fairly easy to prepare alternatives to the norm. Unless I could spend off time preparing freezer batch stuff/or night before fridge for breakfast to make it easy in the morning, but need ideas in that dept?

I can't do eggs everyday but am still looking for variations to scrambled and omelets. I guess I could learn how to poach.

So from slight variations on originals and in between to thinking completely out of the box. I am game for almost anything. Non-western cuisine whatever. I even heard in Japan they have Miso soup as part of their breakfast.

I am trying to eat a little more healthy, but taste is important too. I am also used to a breakfast that goes with coffee, but I can try to go sans java if it doesn't really go with the fare.
