Breakfast in Dartmouth (Eastern Passage, Cow Bay, Quigley's Corner)

I was in town yesterday and my sister dragged me down to Cow Bay to have breakfast. She said it was the only place she could find where everything tastes home made. I was skeptical. (She's no great cook.) I was wrong. Emma's Eatery is just on the right as you make the left toward Cow Bay at Quigley's Corner if you are heading toward the ocean.

Green chow, basically a green spicy relish, was an extra 99 cents and was delicious. Choice of haddock or cod cakes. Tasty. Eggs, cooked nicely. French toast was standard but better than most in the region. They also have sandwiches and some lunch items. Excellent attentive and friendly service.

A real treat and highly recommended amongst what passes for food in Dartmouth. According to the US customs guy, the bakery next door is also worth a look. He mentioned the chocolate chip cookies.

Another find is a little Chinese kitchen at the end of Wyse Road on the east side. I think it's called Lee Lee's or Lee's Parlour. I can't remember. It is tiny and unexpected with delicious clean Chinese meals.
