Breakfast/Brunch on Father's Day?

Aubergine | Jun 13, 2002 06:17 PM

My family is looking for somewhere to take my Dad for Father's Day this Sunday. We don't really need a buffet - just a good place for breakfast/brunch that's inexpensive - $10- $15 (several of us have been laid off). We don't really want to trek downtown but can go elsewhere, and most of us are near Lincoln Square/Ravenswood. We need something that opens by 9 or 930am on Sunday. I looked on the board and am considering these ideas but am open to any others:

Walker Bros.(but kind of far)
Lucky Platter
Cafe 28
Orig. house of Pancakes (Armitage and Clark)
I've never been to Toast, Orange, or OHOP, and haven't been to WB or Lucky Platter in a long time.

Any feedback or suggestions?
