Breakfast - Bouchon vs Peppermill

Bouchon vs Peppermill? Isn't that an odd comparison? But let's compare apples to apples.

At Bouchon I had the American Breakfast. Two eggs, bacon and sausage, brioche with butter and marmalade, a breakfast pastry, coffee and orange juice all for $30 after tip. Needless to say, everything was excellent.

At Peppermill I had three eggs, sausage, home fries, and rye toast with coffee and orange juice and it cost me $25 after tip. The food was good.

So, which was the better bargain? Just sitting having a second cup of world class coffe and a wonderful pastry after my meal alone was worth much more than the $5 difference. I am kicking myself for not going back to Bouchon. I am definately there tomorrow.
