Bread Baking Conundrum

Hello folks,

First time posting. Went and got an account so I could make this post and get some help, because bread baking is vexing me! Of late, every loaf of bread I bake is beset by the same bizarre issue. It splits away from the bottom, but always off to one side, and the side it leans to never seems consistent. I've tried doing research, and one note I saw suggested that the pan might be too hot, and causing the bread to expand up too quickly. The pan's going in at the same time at the bread though, and isn't any hotter than room temperature.

I'd blame it on the oven (which I've noticed seemed to sometimes heat up once the bread goes in? Not sure how that works or how to even mitigate it), but I'm pretty sure I've baked bread fine in it several months ago. But within the last month or two, every time I've tried, this same thing happens. I've tried tweaking things here or there, but nothing seems to make any difference.

Baking is a complex art that I'm certain I barely comprehend at all, and I prostrate myself at the feet of my betters and plead for help.

What am I doing wrong, and how can I make this troublesome issue a thing of the past?
