Brasserie Perrier - Restaurant Week menu changes

Ray | Sep 27, 2004 10:57 PM

My wife and I went to Brasserie Perrier for Restaurant Week tonight. But it turned out that there were some changes to the menu as posted on the Center City District website.

For apps, the escargot and smoked salmon were not offered. There was a yellow fin tuna sashimi with wasabi/ginger (which my wife had and was very good). I had the cavatelli, but it was served with a porcini based sauce, not the tomato-basil butter.

As for the entrees, the advertised lamb was not on the menu. And the Chicken paillard was to be served with a prosciutto/parmesan risotto. My wife had the salmon and I had the striped bass. Both were good.

The dessert menu was also revised. Neither the warm chocolate cake (which i was looking forward to trying)or the pineapple confit were offered. I had a chocolate tart with pistachio ice cream and my wife had a cinnamon/apple pastry.

So if you are looking forward to something in particular on the advertised menu, be advised it might not be offered.
