Braising on a grill

I have a nice chuck eye I was going to braise tomorrow but it is forecast to be 101 degrees, and i am not sure I want to run the oven for 3 hours. Anyone tried braising on a gas grill? Seems like the dutch oven could just hang out on the grill. Was going to do it in my Le Crueset, but maybe not if it goes on the grill - maybe just the Lodge dutch oven.

Thoughts?
