Brain and Liver at Trini-Pak food cart!!??

Canchito (J. DiStefano) | Apr 3, 2003 09:11 PM

So I went over to ther Trini Pak boys today for a large fish special. They have a cart with brand new signs, each a different panel touting various delectables. One read "Brain, liver falafel." For a moment I tried to imagine a melange of deep-fried innards laced with chickpeas and cumin.

I asked the dude with glasses about it and he said that it was meant as a joke and they didn't have it. I thought this odd since the sign, like all the others, also had a Spanish translation. While I was waiting for my meal I asked the kid with ponytail. He too said it was a joke and that he never eats the stuff but his Mom has eaten it. So the $64 dollar question is: Has anyone seen the boys serve brains and/or liver?

Eat on,
