Bango Bowls, an acai bowl chain out of Long Island, is coming to Larchmont at the former Watercolor Café space on Rt. 1, between Chatsworth & Larchmont Aves. There is already one operating in Scarsdale. They serve 'healthy' acai and pitayn bowls, poke bowls, oatmeal bowls, smoothies & more. Meanwhile, just across Boston Post Road, a sign in a storefront window says: Mixed Enerjy. Could it be another juicing spot? I have noticed this concept opening around the county under different names and guises, from Rye to Bronxville. Have you tried? Are they any good? www.bangobowls.com
