Boureks at Simit

When I first started following Chowhound, there was much talk on the NY Board about Albanian Boureks, and I noted that Simit Kabob and Bakery in Fairfax had boureks. Not Albanian, but close enough. I tried my first one the other day.

Excellent. It was minimally filled with feta and parsley, but it was a big, puffy, chewy golden pastry that was inexpensive and deeply satisfying. Next to the Giant at the intersection of Pickett Rd. and Main St., near China Star.
