Bourbon or rye, gift ideas (Boston area)

Hello

I'm looking for ideas for a gift either bourbon, or rye. I'm in the Boston area.

He
-loved the Thomas Handy I found one year
-not into cask or barrel strength mostly (does not want to have to cut it)
-disliked Russell's Reserve (found rough)
-thought Woodford was ok, but would not get again
-gets Four Roses Single Barrel at around $35 as about as high as he will go for himself
-looking for price point of around $75

Buffalo Antique gets a lot of the attention.
Stagg said to be good but hard to find and in any case looks to best cut with some water ....

High West was mentioned to me, if anyone here has tried any of their offerings. I've had a prejudice against a sourced blend, but may overcome it.

I wondered about Black Maple Hill bourbon, but one review of it (purple label) said he hated it so much, he poured it down the drain (and took a pic of himself doing so) (Tell us what you really think!)

I ran across a Four Roses Single Barrel private cask strength at $90 (private barrel( but it's cask strength....
E H Taylor Single Barrel is a possibility but I've seen mixed reviews like :

Suggestions welcome.!
Thank you.
