Another Boule virgin

Was heading to the Westside in a rare trip, and couldn't wait to stop at Boule after all the wonderful photos and posts here.

It was much smaller than I thought, which was good, I was worried I'd be overwhelmed. My husband had a good time making fun of the sorbet "groomer". (not in front of him, but later.) (And not making fun of him personally, but making fun of the silliness of grooming sorbet.) Anyway! I ordered the pineapple/pepper sorbet and LOVED the pepper kick at the end. The little serving cup was adorable too. I didn't think $2.25 was too much to pay for a perfect scoop of something so nice.

I ordered one each of the macarons, I didn't care much for the apple, but the rest were divine, particularly the milk chocolate. I opened the lovely box in the car and took a little bite from each one! So bad! But they were delightful, despite the heavy rain and moisture in the air. I was a little surprised at how sweet they were, I was expecting more subtlety. But I'm a total sweet tooth, so it was still great!

Yeah for Boule!!
