Boston's got no good Thai? Huh?

I was jarred by hotoynoodle's contention in another thread that we have no good Thai in Boston. I mean, it's not Sripraphai in Queens or Lotus of Siam in Vegas (both of which I've had the good fortune of eating at), but we have some pretty great Thai food here. The Boston Globe seems to think so too ... http://www.boston.com/ae/food/restaur...

Me, I like Dok Bua and Khao Sarn. The salmon haw moak at Khao Sarn is one of my favorite comfort foods in town. The miang kum is awesome -- an explosion of flavors and textures. Dok Bua can be inconsistent but if you can get them to bring the heat, the food can be superb.

Yes, you can get dumbed down Thai here as you can everywhere, but really ... no good Thai? Come on now!
